Here is the latest news regarding HEX:
DIGITAL HEX FILES. As we will continue to report, all backers who purchased digital files should have received them. Please message us through Kickstarter if you haven't and we'll be happy to help.
PHYSICAL HEXs. The container ship with our HEX pallets has completed its long ocean journey and arrived at port in Los Angeles!
Not actually our cargo ship, but we wanted to include a picture showing the big event.
We now await the U.S. Customs Service to begin the process of inspection and clearance. Being our first overseas shipment, it may receive more scrutiny. We haven't been provided with an estimate, but our hope is it should clear within a few weeks. As stated before, this portion of the process has the most uncertainty due to supply chain issues so we'll keep you updated as we learn more.
After clearing customs, the pallets will be loaded onto a truck for transport to our warehouse, where we will begin the process of shipping HEX orders out to all of you. Please message us through Kickstarter if you have any last-minute updates to your shipping address. The shipping address lock date has passed but we'll do our best to accommodate requests.
September is likely now the month for us to begin shipping. Stay tuned!

PHYSICAL HEXs. Our manufacturer has completed mass production of the HEXs! This is an exciting milestone that brings us one step closer to shipping them out to you! Here's a picture of one pallet fully loaded with boxed HEXs.

IMPORTANT! SHIPPING ADDRESSES WILL BE LOCKED ON AUG 3RD. Since the final shipping date is approaching, we will be locking the shipping addresses in the pledge manager on August 3rd. If you need assistance updating your shipping address, please message us through Kickstarter and we'll be happy to help. Please note we cannot change your shipping address after this date.
WHAT'S NEXT? We are still hoping to receive the HEXs by late August or early September. As stated before, this portion of the process has the most uncertainty due to supply chain issues so we don't have a firm date yet. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

PHYSICAL HEXs. We're pleased to announce our manufacturer has nearly completed mass production and magnet assembly. Here are the latest pics of some completed HEXs being boxed for shipment.
What's next? Once production and assembly are complete, we will begin the process of having them shipped to the United States for mass distribution worldwide. Please note this portion of the process has the most uncertainty due to supply chain issues. However, based on the current estimates, we hope to receive the HEXs by August or September. Since the final shipping date is approaching, we plan to lock shipping addresses later next month. Please note we will give everybody warning before this is done.
This has been quite a journey and we're nearly there. Thank you all for your patience and support!

PHYSICAL HEXs. Over the past two months, our manufacturer experienced additional delays due to COVID-19 quarantine. However, they were (finally) able to provide us with production samples. Included below are pictures and we are quite pleased with the quality. They are made of ABS plastic have the look and feel of Lego material - very professional!
We have approved the factory to begin mass production and assembly, which should take around 30 days.
What's next? Once production is complete, we will begin the process of having these shipped to the United States for mass distribution worldwide. We'll keep you posted as this portion of the process has the most uncertainty due to supply chain issues.

PHYSICAL HEXs. We're pleased to announce manufacturing of the HEX molds are (finally) complete. Our manufacturer experienced some delays while their factory was idled due to COVID-19 quarantine, but the good news is they have resumed production.
Included below are pictures of the pre-production HEX samples and no, the final versions will not be green or black. :-)
The engineers need to make some small adjustments to the ejector pins, but other than that, they are looking good!
What's next? Within a few weeks we'll receive final HEX samples for our inspection. Assuming no changes are required, we'll approve full production to begin. We're looking forward to sharing pictures of these final samples with you.
